Podcasts
During my time at university I have had the chance to feature on various podcasts. In 2nd year I featured heavily on the daily World Cup podcasts we produced while in third years I featured on four of our weekly podcasts where I discussed the stories I was working on during Newsday's.
Gymnastics abuse story
In the last of our Newsday's I featured on the SportsMad Podcast to discuss British Gymnastics new laws, which were brought in to help reduce the abuse young gymnasts were getting at their local gyms. The case study I discuss is a very concerning and saddening story, which really highlights why the sport needs to make drastic changes.

Amanda Wilkinson Interview
Blackpool Women story
In the fifth installment of our Newsday's SportsMad Podcast I discussed Blackpool Women's teams exit from the FA Cup while highlighting the work the club are doing with their new emerging talents centre, which is hoped will help bridge the gap between them and the likes of Manchester City.

What is Pickleball?
In this episode of the SportsMad Podcast, me and Jennifer Wardle interviewed Mrs Rugby League in Amanda Wilkinson. In the podcast we discussed her success with Barrow Ladies, UCLan's men side, her husband and her intriguing role as Serbia Head Coach.

In my first appearance on the SportsMad Podcast I explained what the sport of Pickleball actually is. With it being teh fastest growing sport in the world I went down to the British Championships at Bolton Arena to learn more, which I discuss on the podcast. I also interviewed UCLan Pickleball founder Ewan Fagan on how he found out about the sport and where he sees it going.

World Cup podcasts
During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar the three years of sports journalism students at my university produced and presented a daily podcast on the events of the tournament. Each day we reviewed and previewed matches while also interviewing top sport stars to get their opinions on the tournament. I featured on eight episodes across the month of football and you can listen those episodes using the links below.
