SuperCupNI
When at home in the summers of 2022 and 2023 I helped out at the SuperCupNI, a long running international youth tournament based in Northern Ireland. In 2022 I covered matches on my personal X account, providing live match updates while also sending in match reports for the tournament's website. This involved me going to three matches per day for the five days of the tournament. On the finals day of the tournament my match reports were picked up by local newspapers including the Newsletter. In 2023 I took up a much bigger role in the media side of the tournament. I still went to two to three matches per day but inn the evening I had to file three to five daily roundups on all the sections, which involved a lot of work, trying to get all the scores in and keeping track of top scorers for example. These daily roundups were in the two daily Northern Irish newspapers: The Belfast Telegraph and the Newsletter. I also did post-match interviews with managers, which went on the tournament's social channels.
