In February 2023 I was tasked by my John Schofield Trust Mentor Raphael Honigstein to help promote his weekly podcast, Beer & Honey.  To do this I set up a X and YouTube account for the podcast so I could post content to help them raise their viewership.

In my 10 months of being Social Media Manager for the podcast the X account grew to 700 followers and the YouTube account received over 1000 views.  Throughout the ten months I tried to improve the output of the accounts from adding thumbnails to YouTube videos using Adobe Photoshop to making use of animations on the videso through the use of Adobe Premiere Pro.  

 

Unfortunately the podcast went bust at the end of 2023 but over the last 10 months I learnt many social media skills, which I believe will help me massively in my future career as a sports journalist.
